House Echo Home, an artist’s book, combines close-up photographic images of domestic furnishings with the quotidian remarks heard in a typical home, as if the house could echo. The images are complex, layered and textural, indicative of the roles that our homes play: security, intimacy,
privacy, familiarity and so on. The comments could be from any family – individually the phrases are ephemeral but in aggregate they provide a
portrait of domestic life.
