| To publish means to make public and to circulate. Obviously this definition applies to many forms of graphic communication, including the medium of the web publishing. Here, Episodic refers to books, brochures, exhibit catalogs and magazines. Rather than the printed medium going the way of the dinosaur with the advent of electronic publishing, a future in which both peacefully co-exist, each doing what they do best is foreseen. In the print world, that is: detailed images and typography (at present, a finer level of legibility), portability (no power required), tactile quality, accessibility (less elitism), and economy (this is already changing...). |
