The goal with this series of Design Dialog mailers was to generate interest within the Twin Cities and Duluth design communities, and to appeal to an audience already inundated with well-designed messages, through visual-verbal puns and internal visual vectors.

The brief that was set (which also benefitted a tight timeline and was economical) was to use a digital camera to capture low resolution images on the St. Paul campus, where the lectures would be held. One typeface, Matthew Carter’s Verdana (a face created for online legibility), was used through-out.
